As the HKCO’s flagship charity event, “Liza & Friends”—now in its eighth edition—is a musical celebration that also attests to compassion and social responsibility. Liza Wang and Jasper Tsang, along with distinguished members of society and cherished friends of the orchestra, use the power of beautiful music to spread warmth and raise funds for the orchestra’s ongoing development and community programmes. 

Embodying the spirit of “art giving back to society”, this concert again highlights Wang, a consummate artist committed to charity and community. A host of prominent figures from the political, business and cultural sectorshave agreed to join her on stage—among them Raymond Tam, David Tai, Calvin Chan, James Wu, John Lau, Lanzy Choy, Salina Yan, David Lee, Charlene Zhou and Susan Tse—showcasing their talents for a heartwarmingevening and musical feast spanning different eras of acclaimed classics, from patriotic songs to lyrical adaptationsof Song dynasty poetry.
